6 Ways to Expand Your Social Awareness

The net is full of news about social networking. I even talk a bit here and there of its importance in building your brand or band name. Here are 6 things I should be doing as a blogger that with a slight twist you as an artist should be doing for yourself. Many of you find that 1 or 3 locations online to promote yourselves and dive in full time. But if you really want to get your name out and use word of mouth then these 6 things should be part of your arsenal. As you get more famous it becomes harder to keep up on these small things but if you try it for just 1 week you will see that it really only takes a few minutes each day.

1)Add 2 contacts each week to your Social Network Profile.

2)Find 1 active forum and participate.

3)Once a week or as you know mention of your band has been made leave a comment.

4)Create or have your fans create 1 new video each month post on You Tube.

5)Join Yahoo Answers under your band's name and answer 5 questions per week.

6)Once a week find 1 place to submit your band and music for review or interview.
